French National eBuggy & Truggy Double for Jerome
This weekend was organised the first French Electric buggy / Truggy national. The Sucy-en-Brie club was on charge to make it happen.
The registration for that event has been crazy as the race was full in less than 1h! I can't believe the success of that class in this moment in France.
126 Drivers registered the buggy class, 14 in Truggy and 24 on short course.
On truggy class, Agama cars has dominated the class, swiping all the spot of the podium! Philippe Schlafmunter was doing his first main event with the Agama cars and Beta tires. After some good testing this winter, he has confirmed by signing the 2nd place in both qualification and final. Antonio Carvalho, also with Agama and Beta, takes 3rd.
On buggy class, Monin and Deroch were in good form this WE, as we were all together really close in term of speed! Both qualify and final was really close.
Sunday final has seen 3 differents winner as Deroch get the first, me the second and Monin the 3th! As the system took the 2 best results on the 4 round, the winner of the last would be the winner!
I just did a clear and perfect round on my last finale race, who allow me to take the overall win!
Finally a really nice weekend for the whole team! About myself, I could not expect a better start on that championship by TQ'ing and winning both class!
I unfortunately need to miss the second round as I have the French nitro Efra GP on my home track, but I will be for sure present to the 3rd race at the beginning of May, at the Chanu track!
Now, let's prepare the nitro car for the next weekends first National in Bordeaux....
